Neurological Speech & Language Disorder

This is caused because of damage to the nervous system. Type of Neurological speech & language Disorder will be dependent on the area of nervous system impacted.
It is of two Types – Acquired Neurological speech & language Disorder or Progressive Neurological speech & language Disorder.
Acquired Neurological speech & language Disorder occurs because of an insult / injury to the nervous system example- Aphasia, Dysarthria etc.
Progressive Neurological Speech & Language Disorder are the result of gradual or progressive worsening of the nervous system with the progression of time such as Dementia, Parkinson’s Disease etc.
