Need for Hearing Aids

Whether the individual needs hearing aid or not, can only be decided after case history and hearing tests. This will help ASLP to collect important information about an individual’s hearing such as what is the status of his hearing (type, degree and configuration of hearing loss) and ASLP will also get information about the sound individual is missing because of hearing impairment.
If the hearing loss is because of the damage to the sensory hair cells and is permanent, ASLP will advise you for use of hearing aid and will also help you select and fit the appropriate style & type hearing aid suitable as per the need of an individual.
